The Need

The NeedThe Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences runs practicals daily for her undergraduate and postgraduate students. Our staff who are one of the most prolific researchers in the university, with many having as many as 300 publications, are actively involved in researches. Most of these researches and practicals are dependent fully on light supply, and some of them last for days and are not supposed to be interrupted.  We all know the power situation in the country and this has persistently been a very big challenge to the students and researchers in the faculty. Unfortunately, the University alternative power supply system does not get to majority of the sections of the Faculty. There is therefore a dire need for an alternative source of light for smooth practical sessions and robust experimental studies that would produce meaningful results that will meet international standards.
